Mrs. Elizabeth Rhett, age 84 “Entered into Rest” on Sunday, September 6, 2015 at Memorial Medical Center in Modesto, CA. She was born in Riverside, CA and has lived in Modesto for 26 years. Mrs. Rhett was a homemaker for 56 years and a member of Modesto Church of God. Mary Rhett is survived by Son – Denny Rhett of Santa Cruz, CA; Two Daughters – Dorothy Herceg of Felton, CA and Fredda Dunn of Modesto; Nine Grandchildren Eighteen Great Grandchildren and One Great Great Grandchild. She is preceded in death by her Husband Fred L. Rhett on June 16, 1995; Son – Ricky Rhett; Parents – Marvin and Lola McGahey; Sister – Gloria Turner and Brother – Marvin McGahey.
Services: Visitation – Friday, September 11, 2015 from 5:00 – 8:00 p.m. at Whitehurst, Norton & Dias Funeral Service, 286 W. Main St., Turlock, CA. Funeral Service – Saturday, September 12, 2015 at 2:00 p.m. at Whitehurst, Norton & Dias Funeral Chapel. Private Interment at San Joaquin Valley National Cemetery.
