Miguel was a longtime resident of Calexico, California, and was in Turlock for work at the time of his passing. Though his time in Turlock was connected to his work, Miguel’s life was defined by much more than his profession. He was a man who found joy in family, music, friendship, and the simple moments shared with the people around him.
Those who knew Miguel will remember his easygoing personality, his laughter, and the joy he brought wherever he went. He had a beautiful smile that was as big as his heart, and his presence made people feel welcome. He especially enjoyed the time spent traveling with his brother, sharing music, laughter, and memories along the way. Within the family, his brother was known as El Güero.
Music was an important part of Miguel’s family and his life. His brother’s song “La Tumba Será el Final” became especially meaningful to those who knew and loved him, carrying a reminder of life, family, and the memories we leave behind.
Miguel will be lovingly remembered by his numerous siblings, nieces, nephews, and many dear friends. He will be remembered for his laughter, his generous spirit, his love of music, and the many miles he traveled alongside his brother and family. The memories he created with those around him will continue to be cherished by all who had the privilege of knowing him.
