Nancy Nelly Rojas de Martinez, age 85, passed away at Memorial Medical Center in Modesto, California, on Wednesday, September 11, 2024. Born in Montevideo, Uruguay, to Amalia and Fermin Rojas, Nancy carried with her a deep sense of warmth and love for others throughout her life.
Nancy was known for her gentle spirit and kind heart. She had an unwavering devotion to her family, always offering love and support in times of need. Her humility and quiet strength made her a source of comfort to those who knew her. Nancy found joy in the simple pleasures of life, especially during family gatherings, where her laughter and caring nature brought everyone closer together. Her ability to listen, encourage, and bring peace to any situation will be remembered by all who were blessed to know her.
Though soft-spoken, Nancy had an enduring impact on those around her. Her kindness extended beyond her immediate family, touching friends and acquaintances with her compassionate heart. Nancy's legacy of love and goodness will live on in the lives of her son, daughter-in-law, and granddaughter, who she loved deeply.
Nancy is survived by her son, Gustavo Martinez, her daughter-in-law Christine Martinez, and her granddaughter, Morgan Martinez, both of Los Banos, California.
She was preceded in death by her beloved husband, Jorge Martinez, as well as her father, Fermin Rojas, and her mother, Amalia Rojas.
