Peggy Johannah Stotts-Pinheiro, age 61, of Merced, California passed away at home surrounded by her family on Thursday, November 3, 2022. Peggy was born in Las Vegas, Nevada to Ruth Nadine McElroy and John Clifford Stotts.
Peggy is survived by her loving husband of 32 years Joseph Manuel Pinheiro of Merced, her daughter Cheyenne Pinheiro (Giovanni) of Los Banos and her son Anthony Pinheiro (Adrianna) of Merced. Peggy is also survived by her sisters Petrita Stotts (Cathy) of Chowchilla, Faye Moore (Richard) of Carlin, Nevada and Judith Stotts of Tecopa, California.
Peggy was preceded in death by her father John Clifford Stotts and her mother Ruth Nadine McElroy; her brothers Kenneth Willson and John Stotts Jr. along with her sisters Jackie Haviland, Margaret Cox and Frankie Harris.
Peggy was a member of Our Lady of Fatima in Los Banos and a member of the California Teachers Association for 37 years.
A visitation for Peggy will be held Wednesday, November 16, 2022 from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM at Whitehurst-Norton-Dias Funeral Service, 286 West Main, Turlock, CA 95380.
A Rosary Service followed by a Funeral Mass will occur Thursday, November 17, 2022 at 10:00 AM at St. Joseph's Catholic Church, 1621 Center Ave., Los Banos, CA 93635.
A Committal Service will occur Thursday, November 17, 2022 at Los Banos Cemetery, 16575 Center Ave., Los Banos, CA 93635.
Serving as pallbearers are Nathan Soares, Sabrina Soares, Alex Fulton, Bobby Fulton, Anthony Pinheiro, Silvin Matthew and Giovanni Guzman.
