Steven is survived by: father Serafim Lopes (Helia Jorge) of Hilmar; mother Natalia Avila Mota (Antonio Mota) of Topo, Sao Jorge, Azores; sister Linda Soares (Duarte Soares) of Turlock; nephew Blake Soares; nephew Hayden Soares; and niece Jayme Soares.
A Recitation of the Rosary followed by Funeral Mass will be held at 10:00 AM on Tuesday, July 20, 2021 at Our Lady of Assumption Catholic Church, 2602 S. Walnut Road, Turlock, California. Following will be a Committal Service at Turlock Memorial Park, 575 N. Soderquist Road, Turlock, California.
Serving as pallbearers are: Duarte Soares, Blake Soares, Hayden Soares, Michael Lopes, Danny Lopes and David Azevedo.
