Tina Lynette Ojeda

With heavy hearts and endless love, we announce the passing of Tina Lynette Ojeda, who entered eternal rest on August 5, 2026, at the age of 44. Born on September 9, 1981, in San Jose, California, Tina made her home in Modesto, California, where she built a life centered on love, laughter, and caring for others.

Tina's greatest joy and proudest accomplishment were her daughters, Maryiah Ojeda and Dreena Ochoa. They were the center of her world, and there was nothing she wouldn't do for them. Her love for them was fierce, unconditional, and evident in every part of her life. The bond they shared will remain forever unbreakable.

Tina was one of those unforgettable people whose presence could light up an entire room. She was wonderfully spunky, a little crazy in all the best ways, and had a sense of humor that made even ordinary moments memorable. She had a heart of gold and never hesitated to help someone in need. Whether you needed a meal, a shoulder to lean on, a laugh, or simply someone to show up, Tina was there.

Her career reflected who she was at her core. As an activity’s director and caregiver, she found purpose in bringing happiness, comfort, and creativity to the lives of others. She had a special gift for making people feel seen, valued, and cared for.

Tina had a passion for music that could be felt by anyone around her. Freestyle music was her favorite, and she was always ready for a concert, a drive with the music turned up, or any gathering where there was a good song playing. Music wasn't just something she listened to; it was part of how she celebrated life.

She was also incredibly creative. Once she got her Cricut machine, there seemed to be no limit to what she could make. From personalized gifts to beautiful decorations and countless craft projects, her imagination and talent were always at work. She also loved cooking and found joy in bringing family and friends together around a table filled with love and good food.

One of the greatest blessings of Tina's life was the extraordinary friendship she shared with her best friend, Sarah. Their bond was one of unwavering loyalty, unconditional love, and constant support. Through life's highest highs and its hardest moments, Sarah stood faithfully beside Tina, never wavering. Their friendship was the kind many hope to find but few are fortunate enough to experience, a chosen family built on trust, laughter, and endless love.

Though Tina faced life's challenges with remarkable courage and determination, she never allowed them to define her. Instead, she chose to keep loving deeply, laughing loudly, creating joy, and making lasting memories with the people she cherished most.

Tina is survived by her beloved daughters, Maryiah Ojeda and Dreena Ochoa; her mother, Esther Arellano and stepfather, Elias Arellano; her brother, Willie Ojeda; her sisters, Sabrina Robles (Juan), Gracie Arellano, and Rosie Lozano (Frankie); along with many nieces, nephews, extended family members, and dear friends whose lives were forever enriched by her love. She was preceded in death by her sister, Isabel Mendez.

The family is planning a Celebration of Life, with details to be announced at a later date. They are deeply grateful for the love, prayers, and support shown during this difficult time.

Although our hearts are broken, we take comfort in knowing that Tina's love lives on in the lives she touched, the memories she created, and the family and friends who will carry her spirit forward. If love alone could have kept her here, she would have stayed forever. Until we meet again, may we honor Tina by living with the same generosity, laughter, creativity, and fearless love that she shared so freely with the world.
