Deanie was a loving and caring wife, mother, grandmother and great grandmother. She was a role model in all of our lives. She married the love of her life, H.J., in 1952. Deanie’s greatest joy was being a mother and sharing the joy of our Lord, Jesus Christ. She poured her heart into her family and her faith. A devout Christian, Deanie was a Sunday school teacher, vacation Bible School teacher and deeply involved in the Bus ministry at her Church. She was particularly drawn to children’s ministry and served faithfully at Dauphin Way Baptist Church and First Baptist Church – Tuscaloosa. Her steadfast faith was exhibited throughout her life. She will be remembered and missed by many.
