
Alice Elaine Hagler, age 53, of Northport, died Oct. 12, 2010, at home. Services will be 11 a.m. Friday at Memory Chapel Funeral Home with Rev. Paul Peeples and Rev. Debra Plott officiating. Burial will follow in Memory Hill Gardens with Memory Chapel Funeral Home, a Dignity Memorial Provider, directing. Visitation will be one hour prior to services at the funeral home.
She was preceded in death by Charlene Hagler, Mr. and Mrs. J.L. Hagler, and Mr. and Mrs. Joe Hunt, Sr.
Survivors include her sons, Daniel Broyles (Jenni) and Victor Broyles (Heather); her sister, Janice Card (Kerry); her brothers, Henry "Hank" Hagler (Debby) and John Hagler (Stephanie); her father, James Hagler; her granddaughters, Ava Grace, Valerie, and Trista; four nieces; eight nephews; several great-nieces and nephews; and a "great" host of family and friends.
She graduated from Northside High School in 1974. She attended the University of Alabama and then went to work in the Financial Aid Department of Shelton State Junior College. She retired from Shelton in 1999. She was a longtime member of Union Chapel Methodist Church.
Alice never looked on the bad side of anything-there was only a "good" side. Alice loved people!
Pallbearers will be Adam Wallace, Luke Hagler, Logan Hagler, Garrett Hagler, L.J. Hagler, Chad Buckallew, and Robert John Hayes.
Honorary pallbearers are Brandy Honeycutt, Terri Grammer, Pam Gilliam, Shirley Buckallew, Teresa Gray, Wanda Koon, Judy Ingles, Josh Clorley, C.J.
