Andrew Randolph Fondren

Andrew Randolph Fondren, age 91, of Tuscaloosa, died Dec. 26, 2012, at DCH Regional Medical Center. Services will be 2 p.m. Friday at Heritage Chapel Funeral Home with Rev. Rick Mitchell officiating. Burial will follow in Tuscaloosa Memorial Park with Heritage Chapel Funeral Home & Cremations, a Dignity Memorial Provider, directing. Visitation will be one hour prior to services at the funeral home.

He was preceded in death by his wife, Lounette Hubbard Fondren; his wife, Lois Smith Fondren; his wife, Bertha Davis Fondren; two brothers; and two sisters.

Survivors include his daughter, Harriet Hickman (Johnny); his son, Marty Fondren (Charlain); his grandchildren, Luanne Hickman Payne (Richard), Debra Hickman LeGrone, Clay Hickman (Tonya), Kyle Fondren (Amy), and Alaina Fondren; and nine great-grandchildren.

Pallbearers will be Clay Hickman, Kyle Fondren, Ken Hubbard, Patrick Fowler, Victor Hubbard Jr., and J.T. Hood.

Honorary pallbearers are special friend Aline Barton, members of Holt Baptist Church and Holt Baptist Senior Adult Men's Sunday School, former employees of Gulf States Paper, and the morning mall walkers.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to Holt Baptist Church.
