Anita Guy

NORTHPORT – Anita Holmes Guy, age 73, of Northport, died October 30, 2017. Services will be 11 a.m. Thursday, November 2, 2017, at Memory Chapel Funeral Home with Rev. Terrell Jones and Rev. Tim Baumgarten officiating. Burial will follow in Memory Hill Gardens with Memory Chapel Funeral Home, a Dignity Memorial Provider, directing. Visitation will be today, November 1, 2017, from 6 to 8 p.m., at the funeral home.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Willard F. and Frances Holmes.

Survivors include her husband, Revis E. Guy; sons, Jeffrey Guy (Tammy), Darryl Guy (Angie), Byron Guy (special friend, Amy Britton); sisters, Martha Jean O'Quinn (Bill) and Denise Wolf; grandchildren, Matthew Guy (Jessica), Landon Guy (Kelsey), Holly Guy, Sarah Guy, Mary and Madison Guy, Noah Guy, Jacob Guy, Sierra Cantrell and Savannah Cantrell; and great-granddaughters, Ryleigh Jo Cox and Anna Claire Guy.

She was a loving and faithful wife, mother, grandmother and friend. Her love for her family was only exceeded by her love for her Savior, Jesus Christ. She was a member of Phillip's Chapel Free Will Baptist Church and she loved her church family very much.

She was the sweetest, kindest friend and will be missed by all who knew her. She was a wonderful homemaker. She enjoyed watching her hummingbirds and was an avid gardener and animal lover.

Pallbearers will be Matthew Guy, Landon Guy, Noah Guy, Jacob Guy and Logan Wolf.

Honorary pallbearers are her nephews.
