Anna Davis Adams

A dedicated mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, sister-in-law, and friend, Anna’s life was defined by devotion to her family and warmth toward all who knew her. Her presence, wisdom, and caring spirit will be deeply missed by those she leaves behind.

Anna was preceded in death by her husband, Larry C. Adams; her former husband, Judge Jerry B. Baird; her son, John P. Baird; her brother, Richard Davis; her father, Gordon Davis; and her mother, Charlotte M. Davis.

Her memory will be forever cherished by her surviving family: her daughter, Angie D. Baird(Christi Price); her beloved grandchildren, Joshua C. Baird, Allie N. Baird, Caroline B. Houk (Noah Houk), and John Davis Baird; her cherished great-grandchildren, Shepard Houk and Beckham Houk; her sister-in-law, Sharyn Davis; her stepdaughter, Sherri Traffica; her loving companions and dear friends, Jamie Watkins and Kristi Bilyeu; and her faithful canine companion, Bit Bit.

A graveside service will be held at 11:00 AM on Thursday, October 22, 2026, at Tuscaloosa Memorial Park. Arrangements and care are entrusted to Heritage Chapel Funeral Home.

Serving as pallbearers will be Lee Cunningham, Brent Dunlap, Tim Ingram, Owen Watkins, John McCulley, and Tim Smith.

Honorary pallbearers are Roger Myers, Joel Sogol, Judge Chandler, Donnie Langley, Roland Mouchette, David Daniels, Dick Turpin, Sean Tierce, and Cal Wilson.

In lieu of flowers, the family asks that memorial donations be made to the West Alabama Food Bank or the Tuscaloosa Metro Animal Shelter.
