Annie M. Boothe

NORTHPORT - Annie Merle Boothe, age 87, passed away on April 16, 2020. Annie was born on January 21, 1933 in Buhl, Ala. She is now in the loving arms of her heavenly Father and her husband, Billy E. Boothe.

Annie was preceded in death by her loving husband, Billy E. Boothe; her parents, Verner O. and Terria B. Strickland; her brothers, LA Strickland, Oliver “Bud” Strickland and Roff Strickland; and sisters, Elizabeth Gregory and Shirley Calabrese.

Annie is survived by her brother, James Strickland (Helen) of Emory, Texas; her sister-in-law, Bland Strickland of Coker, Ala.; and many nieces and nephews and their families; also her special and loving friend, John.

Annie traveled the world as a military wife. The stories she told will always be cherished. Her nieces should always remember to sit up a little straighter due to the impeccable posture she displayed. Her nephews should always know how to treat a lady.

A special thank you to all of her friends and neighbors of the Northwood Lake Community. A graveside service will be held on Saturday, April 25, 2020, at 12 noon at Memory Hill Gardens. We ask for everyone to keep in mind of restrictions due to Covid-19. A very special memorial and celebration of life will be done at a later time.
