Aubrey Gene Bruner, 66, passed away Monday, June 26, 2023. Aubrey leaves behind a loving family and many, many friends. Aubrey was a faithful husband, father, grandfather, and friend, and will be dearly missed by all who knew him. He was a fierce believer in hard work and commitment and served as a shining example of this in his service in the United States Navy as well as his career in engineering at SSAB. He also believed in the importance of enjoying the finer things in life, such as fishing, watching Alabama football (Roll Tide!), and making treasured memories with his family and friends. He would want those who knew him not to mourn, but to remember fondly the memories we have of him and carry his love forward throughout life.
Pallbearers are son, Kelly Bruner; grandson, Aubrey Fisher Bruner; son-in-law, Jason Peek, and son-in-law, Anders Baker.
Honorary Pallbearers are nephew, Joshua Harbin; friend, Tim Macon; friend, Donnie Carter, and friend, Craig Wales.
