Audie Hodgens

Audie Hodgens, age 90, of Fosters, Alabama passed away on Friday, December 27, 2024 at her home. A Celebration of Life will be held at 11 AM on Tuesday, January 7, 2025 at Memory Chapel Funeral Home with Bradley Channell and David Kelly officiating.

Audie was preceded in death by her parents; both husbands; 2 brothers; 3 sisters; 1 stepson.

She is survived by her daughters, Sheila Hoggle (Billy), Cynthia Brewer (Paul); 3 granddaughters, Tela Dalton (Jeffery), Nicole Minshew (Mark), Lindsey Tullis (Joseph); 4 great grandchildren; 7 stepchildren, Eugene Hodgens, David Hodgens (Dedrah), Deryl Hodgens (Sharon), Virginia Johnson (Glenn), Margaret Frazier (Tim), Rachel Aultman (Joe).

Audie was born in Boaz, Alabama, the 4th of 7 children to Ora James Hartline and Annie Berry Evans Hartline. She was a woman of God, with a great influence and she was loved by everyone who knew her. She didn't realize the impact she made on the lives she touched. She loved reading the word of God and attending church. She was a devoted wife to her husband, Wallace Leon Allen for 43 years, until he passed. Then to her husband, James Emmett Hodgens, for 15 years.

Interment will be in Macedonia Cemetery with Wilson Funeral Home of Rainsville, Alabama directing.
