

Bennie Glenn Ross of Fairhope, formerly of Tuscaloosa, died Feb. 20, 2013, at Thomas Hospital in Fairhope. Memorial services will be 2 p.m. today at First United Methodist Church with Dr. Ken Dunivant officiating. Private family burial will take place in Tuscaloosa Memorial Park with Heritage Chapel Funeral Home & Cremations, a Dignity Memorial Provider, directing. Visitation will follow the memorial service at the church.
She was preceded in death by her son, John H. Cammack Jr.; her parents, Mr. and Mrs. Bennie M. Glenn; her brother, H. Marvin Glenn; and her husbands, John H. Cammack, Dr. Albert F. Tatum, and Wright H. Ross Jr.
Survivors include her daughter, Carol Tatum Williams (Edwin) of Russellville, Ark.; her stepchildren, Jean R. Smallwood (Scott) of Birmingham, Cade Ross of Denver, Colo., Thomas Ross (Ann) of Birmingham, Carey Ross (Jeana) of Guntersville, and Wright H. Ross III of Guntersville; her brother, Francis E. Glenn (Tommie) of Whatley; her sister-in-law, Elmira I. Glenn of Tuscaloosa; her grandchildren, Kathryn C. Benson of Fairhope, Christopher J. Cammack (Anne) of Spokane, Wash., John J. Cammack of Tuscaloosa, Anne W. Cadle (David) of Cleveland, Tenn., and Edwin Williams (Sharon) of Stuttgart, Germany; and several great-grandchildren, nieces, and nephews.
She was a member of the First United Methodist Church and a former member of the Thursday Night Supper Club, Les Amis Study Club, Carousel Club, Chief Tuskaloosa Chapter of the Daughters of the American Revolution, Sybarites, Les Danseurs, and Newcomers Club in Fairhope.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to First United Methodist Church or to one's favorite charity.
