Betty Grace Harbin Caddis

Betty Grace Harbin Caddis, age 86, of Duncanville, Alabama passed away on November 7, 2023 at Hospice of West Alabama. A Celebration of Life will be held on Sunday, November 12, 2023 at 2 pm at Liberty Baptist Church. Burial will follow in the church cemetery. Visitation will be one hour prior to the service. Betty was preceded in death by her husband of 59 years, Earl Caddis; parents, Vaudie Francis Williams and Lewis W. Harbin; Grandmother Williams and Grandmother Caddis; son, Kenneth W. Caddis; granddaughter, Kristy Caddis Hubbard.

Betty is survived by her sons, Howard (Jancy), Barry (Karen) and Thomas; brother, Billy Cameron; grandchildren, Gene (Carolyn), Matt (Katie), Josh (April), Cyndal (Matt), Stephen, Tabitha Bostick (Jordan), Kenneth (Veronica), Janna (Corey), Nickalos and Joshua (Brandy); great grandchildren, Courtney (Dylan), Lydia (Demarcus), Tanner, Eliza, Griffin, Lacey, Peyton, Elaina, Reece, Emmalynn, Truett, Natalee, Myla, Luke, Elli, Ryleigh, Brayden, Brooks, Mia, Nora, Farrah and K.J.

Betty graduated from Tuscaloosa High School in 1954. She retired from Bryce Hospital as a nurse. She was a lifelong member of Liberty Baptist Church. She was a cattleman's wife and could always be found helping her husband on the farm and in the garden. Betty was an honest and hard working mother that loved her family and took pride in supporting them in everything that they did. She was a loyal friend and never spoke badly about anyone. She will be missed by all that knew her.

Pallbearers will be her grandsons. Honorary pallbearers are the neighbors and friends of the Hagler and Duncanville Communities, Hospice of West Alabama nurses- Kim, Mary, Danielle, Jenny and Terri, and caretaker, Susan Seymour. In lieu of flowers, please make donations to Hospice of West Alabama for their excellent care or to Liberty Baptist Church.
