Betty Jean Kempster Ephraim

Betty lived a long and meaningful life filled with love for her family. She witnessed nearly a century of change and history, carrying with her the wisdom, strength, and resilience that defined her generation.

She is preceded in death by her daughters, Connie Hughes and Donna Bell; and a son, Billy Kempster.

She is survived by her son, Bob Kempster; her grandchildren, Russ Bell (Claudia), Bryan Glass (Dana), Richard Bell (Mona), Karen Jeffers (Steven), Trent Kempster (Shara), and Kelley Scott (Lee); eight great-grandchildren; nine great-great-grandchildren; and her beloved companion of 14 years, Baby.

The family would like to thank the caring staffs of Hospice of West Alabama and Heritage Health & Rehab for going above and beyond in their compassionate care of Betty.
