Beulah Dalton Rushing Upchurch, age 91, of Tuscaloosa, died November 12, 2017. Graveside services will be 2 p.m. Wednesday, November 15, 2017, at Memory Hill Gardens with Rev. John Killingsworth officiating and Memory Chapel Funeral Home, a Dignity Memorial Provider, directing. Visitation will be today, November 14, 2017, from 6 to 8 p.m., at the funeral home.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Robert Upchurch and daughter, Judy Hanson.
Survivors include her daughters, Jeanie Gray (Grant) and Jan Brown (Andrew); son, Claude "Butch" Reynolds (Olga); nieces and nephews, James Rushing, Paula Thompson, Gayle Pierce and Paul Pierce; grandchildren, Julie Gray, Cindy Hart, Jason Gray, Lauren McFarland, Jonathan Reynolds, David Smith, Sean Smith, Shane Scarbrough, Dusty Scarbrough and Thomas Bolton; and 16 great-grandchildren.
She was a longtime resident of Tuscaloosa, retired from the Tuscaloosa VA Hospital and then moved to Orange Beach, Ala. where she lived until three years ago.
In lieu of flowers, the family suggests that donations be made to Hospice of West Alabama.
