Billie Ann Usry

Billie A. Usry, age 87 passed away on August 2, 2026. A Celebration of Life will be held at 11:30 am on Tuesday, August 11, 2026 at Circlewood Baptist Church with Bro. Herb. Thomas officiating. Visitation will be one hour prior to the service.

Billie is preceded in death by her husband, Robert T. Usry; parents, Jack and Sadie White; grandparents, Herbert and Rose Gould.

She is survived by her daughter, Sherry Usry; son, Michael Usry; brother, Charles White; grandchildren, Grace Olivia Shivers, Emilia Quinn Usry; great granddaughter, Stoney Ray Shivers.

Billie lived a life filled with faith, love, service, and adventure. As the devoted military wife of her husband, Robert, she embraced the life of a military family, traveling the world and making a home wherever they were stationed. Throughout the years, they lived in Alabama, South Carolina, Texas, Mississippi, Louisiana, Kentucky, Washington, D.C., Washington State, and Germany, building lifelong friendships and touching countless lives along the way.

Billie dedicated her professional career to the banking industry, where she faithfully served for many over 40 years. She retired from Alabama Credit Union after a lifetime of hard work and commitment, leaving behind a legacy of kindness, integrity, and exceptional service.

No matter where life took them, Billie and Robert faithfully served the Lord and were active members of their local church. Their final church home was Circlewood Baptist Church. Even after moving to Texas, Billie remained deeply connected to her Tuscaloosa church family, faithfully watching the Circlewood Baptist Church service every Sunday on her iPad.

Above all else, Billie loved the Lord. Her faith was the foundation of her life and guided every step she took. She loved Alabama football, softball and gymnastics and above everything she treasured her family and friends, but nothing brought a bigger smile to her face than her precious great-granddaughter, Stoney Ray, who held a very special place in her heart.

Billie will be remembered for her unwavering faith, her compassionate spirit, her love for others, and the grace with which she lived her life. Her legacy of faith and love will continue to live on in all who were blessed to know her.

One of Billie’s favorite Bible verses perfectly reflected the way she lived her life:

“I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me.”

Philippians 4:13

Though she is already deeply missed, her family finds comfort in knowing she is now in the presence of her Savior, whom she loved so dearly.
