Billy Dean Simpson

Billy Dean Simpson, age 60, died December 29, 2017 at DCH Regional Medical Center. Services will be 3 p.m. Sunday, January 1, 2017 at Memory Chapel with Bro. Darryl Harbin officiating. Burial will follow in Memory Hill Gardens. Visitation will be two hours prior to the service at the funeral home with Memory Chapel Funeral Home & Cremations, a Dignity Memorial Provider, directing.Survivors include his wife, Donna S. Simpson; son, Britt W. Simpson, both of Tuscaloosa, Ala.; and niece, Michelle Blakely Adamson and family.Billy loved hunting, fishing, playing softball and watching Alabama football with his best friend and son Britt. Bill never met a stranger and always knew someone wherever he went. He will always be remembered for his kindness.Pallbearers will be Eric Averette, Chris Mills, Ryan Jacobs, Stuart Taormina, Joey Harbin and Jesse Colburn.Honorary pallbearers are Buddy, Wes (Nicole), Bradley (Amy) and family and Jeremy Wyatt, Sonny and Joyce Miller, Brad Miller and family, Wyatt Painting, Rhythm and Brews staff past and present, 5th floor North nurses and support staff, MICU and staff, Kip Schryer, Swamp Hollow Plantion Hunting Club and a host of other family and friends.In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to one's favorite charity.
