Bobby Eugene Black

Bobby Eugene Black, age 70, of Brookwood, died Feb. 15, 2013, at home. Graveside services will be 11 a.m. Friday at Tuscaloosa Memorial Park with Rev. Daniel Snider officiating and Heritage Chapel Funeral Home & Cremations, a Dignity Memorial Provider, directing. Visitation will be Friday from 10 to 10:45 a.m. at the funeral home.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Raiford and Mary Frances Black, and his brother, Danny Black.

Survivors include his wife, Patricia; his daughters, Brenda Floyd (Jim), Carolyn Boutwell (Gary), and Tina Howell (Rick); his son, Charles Black (Melodie); his sisters, Mary Surwic and Shirley Abston (W.A. "Hot"); and his grandchildren, Amanda Floyd, Andrew Black, Blair Black, Emma Boutwell, Clayton Howell, and Anna Boutwell.

Bobby loved spending time with his family and working outdoors. Bobby was a master of many crafts. He enjoyed the past 12 years with his special buddy, Turbo.

Pallbearers will be Andrew Black, Gary Boutwell, Jim Floyd, Rick Howell, Russell Meadows, and Calvin Taylor.

Honorary pallbearers are his many friends of the Brookwood and Coaling communities.
