Bobby Turner Wright

Bobby Turner Wright, 80, of Tuscaloosa, passed away on October 13, 2021 at his residence. A Graveside Funeral Service will be held on Sunday, October 17, 2021 at 2:00pm from Memory Hill Gardens, Garden of the Last Supper. Bro. Gene Dockery will officiate with services under the direction of Memory Chapel, a Dignity Memorial provider.

Mr. Wright was born May 26, 1941 in Tuscaloosa, AL to the late Nathan Turner and Willie Odell Wright. He graduated from Tuscaloosa High School. He loved fishing and vegetable gardening. He was a loving husband, father and “Paw Paw”, who will be greatly missed by all of his family and friends.

He is survived by his wife of 61 years Minnie Wright; sons Richard Wright and Michael (Jill) Wright, both of Northport; grandchildren: Matthew Wright, Nicolas Wright, Stephen Wright, William Wright and Jake Quinn; sisters Virginia Horton of Tuscaloosa and Carolyn Van Buskirk of Orlando, FL.
