Had the pleasure of meeting Mr Cary when I was young through our love of horses.  He had horses "across the creek" from our place and often the would work his field trial dogs on our land.  He always greeted with a smile.  He introduced me to another great horseman Emit Wood.  Thank you Mr. Cary for all you taught me about field trials and the love of horses.  Will be missed.  Thinking of the family.

To Carey's family I had the honor of being one of Cary's friends  and classmate, (THS Class 52),  I left Alabama for a military career.
I have seen Cary at the past reunions, remember him very much
from our high school days.

Charles, Konnie and Iare saddened to learn the death of Cary, please accept my symphatyfor the Findley family.  I will always remember the early mornings going to meet Cary at the horse stable to feed the horses  ......he really did like those horses. I can see him now with that big floppy hat, muddy boots and big smile.  He was one of a kind....will never be replaced. He was my friend when I was living in Havana. He would come to our house in the late evening just to say "hello".  Konnie would go down to the horse stable and Cary would saddle up a hoese and they would go riding.  Konnie always thought he looked like Paul Newman.

Charles, Cary was a man of strong moral values and untouchable character Iknow you were proud to have him as your brother, it was a privlage for me to know him and you.
