Charles Reach

TUSCALOOSA - Charles Wayne Reach, age 73, of Tuscaloosa, Ala., passed away January 2, 2018 at home. Services will be 11 a.m. Friday, January 5, 2018, at Memory Chapel Funeral Home with Dr. Donald Payne officiating. Burial will follow in Memory Hill Gardens with Memory Chapel Funeral Home, a Dignity Memorial Provider, directing.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Clarence and Annie Bell Reach.

Survivors include his wife, Linda Rominger Reach of Tuscaloosa; daughter, Shana Arnold (Matt) of Guntersville; and son, Wayne Reach (Robin) of Coaling; grandchildren, Savannah and Vivian Reach and Madeline, Chloe and Miller Arnold.

Being the humble man that Charles was, he wanted no big accomplishments listed because he always said his greatest accomplishments were the love of the Lord, being married to the love of his life-Linda, and his children and grandchildren.

Pallbearers will be Mike Bobo, Matt Arnold, Hunter Strickland, Marty Litton, Michael Burroughs, Joel Orr, Jimmy Smith and Greg White.

Honorary pallbearers are Michael and Judi Arnold, Margaret and Bill Turner, Eve Gray, Jan Strickland, Sara Johnson, Joe and Diane Litton, Charlotte Payne, Teri Hibbard, Traci Chandler, Steven Fondren, Dr. John Dubay, Joanne and Bethany, volunteers of Lewis & Faye Manderson Cancer Center, especially Shirley, Southern Care Hospice, members of Forest Lake Baptist Church, Malane Downer, David and Liz Pearce, Tom and Pam Griffin, Phifer Wire employees, and Beverly Phifer.
