Charles "Randy" Winters

He is preceded in death by his father, Charlie Banks Winters and mother, Lois Waneze Winters.

He is survived by his spouse, Clara Sue Winters; daughters, Sharon Bounds (Bill); sister, Judy Winters Lake; grandchildren, Brandon Bounds (Emily and Cody Bounds.

Randy Winters was born in Tuscaloosa, Alabama and spent most of his life living in Northport, Alabama. He graduated from Tuscaloosa County High in 1957. He later met the love of his life Mrs. Clara Sue (Tucker) Winters and they married in 1961. They had one child, Sharon Winters Bounds. Mr. Winters loved his family. He also had 2 grandsons that he spent a lot of time with as they grew up. Randy worked at Gulf States Paper Corp and then later retired from Jim Walter Resources. He loved fiddle and gospel music and was a good fiddler himself. He was a sweet Christian man who genuinely loved everyone he knew. He was a member of Sand Springs Methodist Church in Northport, Alabama.

Pallbearers are Bill Bounds, Brandon Bounds, and Cody Bounds.

Honorary pallbearers are the staff of Heritage Nursing Home, staff of Diversicare of Winfield, AL, and Gentiva Hospice.

In lieu of flowers, the family would requests that donations be made to Sand Springs Methodist Church of Northport, Alabama.

A funeral service for Randy will be held Monday, November 13, 2023 at 2:00 PM at Memory Chapel Funeral Home, 2200 Skyland Blvd East, Tuscaloosa, Alabama 35405.
