Charlotte "Mau Mau" Estelle Hallman

She is preceded in death by her husband, Garland Hallman; father, Ollie Tyner and mother, Vennie Tyner.

She is survived by her daughter, Teresa Ponder (David); sons, Tony Gilliland (Vickie) and Terry Gilliland (Amanda); sister, Mary Ann Culp; brothers, Robert Tyner and Billy Tyner; grandchildren, Kellie Burch (Keith), Randy Yeager (Liz), Taylor Albright (Chris), Greyson Gilliland, Kross Gilliland, Madison Gilliland (Timothy Rice); great-grandchildren, Presley Miller, Kodie, Christian, KJ Burch, Levi, Jeremiah Yeager, Cade Albright, Chloe, and Abby Gilliland.

Charlotte "Mau Mau" Hallman was a beautiful and loving woman who had a strong Christian faith. She loved her family dearly and one of her favorite sayings was "oh my stars". The love she had for her grandkids was unmatched they were her pride and joy. She loved Alabama football, cooking, fishing, spending time with family and loved having family get togethers. Mau Mau always had a smile on her face. She loved getting visits from her kids and grandkids.

Pallbearers are Keith Burch, Chris Albright, Greyson Gilliland, Randy Yeager, Kross Gilliland, and Timothy Rice.

The family would like to give a special thanks to the honorary pallbearers Tina Bragg, Hospice Avaeanna, Dr. Christopher Wang and Staff at Grandview.

A visitation will be Thursday, September 7, 2023 from 12-2 PM at Memory Chapel Funeral Home located at 2200 Skyland Blvd E, Tuscaloosa, AL 35405 with a graveside service to follow in the adjoining cemetery at 2 PM with Ray Hallman officiating.
