Cindy Gregory

Born in Philadelphia, Mississippi on September 28, 1939 to Harold and Evie Mae Holley, she is survived by her 4 children: Spanky Stewart (Cindy), Sandy Chapman, Suzi Fields, and Deb Grimsley.

Cindy spent a dedicated 45 years as a hairdresser in Tuscaloosa where she met many clients turned long time friends. After retiring 20 years ago she enjoyed cooking for her family, gardening flowers, sharing time with family, reading her bible and listening to gospel music.

She is also survived by her siblings: Bonnie Lewis, Henry Holley (Ruth), Dale Holley (Kathy), Charles Holley (Suzette), Dixie Rivers (Gary), and Ila Rice. Her grandchildren: Robby Fields (Jamie), Brandy Grant (Phillip), Wesley Chapman (Rachel), Del Stewart (Kristin), Michael Skelton (Lynsey), and Eric Stewart. Her great grandchildren: Madison Chism (Ethan), Robbi Ann and Barrett Skelton, Skylar and Peyton Stewart, Lillie and Emma Fields, Keegan and Kyson Stewart, Thomas and Aisley Chapman, and Austin Ponder.

Cindy was predeceased by her parents, and her brother William Holley (Helen).

Visitation will be held at Memory Chapel Funeral Home on Monday, July 29, 2024 at 1 p.m. then service at 2 p.m. followed by an entombment prayer in Memory Hill Gardens.
