

Clarence Paul Duncan Sr., age 78, of Cottondale, AL, passed away July 19, 2026, at his home. Clarence had been married to the love of his life, Peggy Duncan, for 54 years. Peggy passed away in March 2022.
Clarence was a U.S. Army veteran of the Vietnam War. He also worked and retired as a Produce Manager at Food World.
Clarence loved working with crafts; he built remote-controlled flying airplanes and a huge display of trains and train stations that he crafted himself. Clarence was a Christian and loved the Lord. He dearly loved his family, his grandchildren, and his great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Peggy Duncan; his parents, Mr. and Mrs. Raiford Duncan; and his sisters, Claudette, Joyce Ann, Barbara, and Brenda.
He is survived by his daughter, Tammy Angeloff (Randy Petty), of Cottondale, AL, and his son, Paul Duncan (Christy), of Cottondale, AL; eight grandchildren, Kyler Angeloft (Megan), Tanner Angeloft (Skylynn), Karlie Kelly (Tyler), Anna Kate Herrick, Matthew Duncan, Tanner Wallace, Gavin Wallace, and Braxton Wallace; and 11 great-grandchildren.

Visitation will be held at Memory Chapel Funeral Home on July 23, 2026, from 4:00 pm to 6:00 pm.
The Funeral Service will be held at Memory Chapel Funeral Home on July 24, 2026, at 10:00 am. Pastor Mike Bell will be officiating.
The Committal Service will be held at Mt. Zion Cemetery, 12601 Hargrove E Rd, Cottondale, AL, on July 24, 2026.
