Clark Stephen Rinker, age 89 of Birmingham, Alabama passed away on January 20, 2026 at Bill Nichols State Veterans Home. A Celebration of Life will be at 11:00 am on Friday, January 23, 2026 at Memory Chapel Funeral Home.
Clark was preceded in death by his father, Clark Irwin Rinker; mother, Juanita Stephenson; brother, Doug Rinker.
He is survived by his spouse, Doris Boyd Rinker; daughters, Carolyn (Ree) Taylor (Jim), Michelle Doucet (Andre); son, Andy Hammill (Linda); sister, Linda; grandchildren, Gabrielle Donohue (Joe), Marlee Taylor, James Taylor, Isabella Doucet, Andre Doucet (Payton), Mary Grace Doucet, Amelia Doucet, Benjamin Doucet; great grandchildren, Charlotte and Max Stringfellow.
Clark Stephen Rinker, Born May 23, 1936, passed away on January 20, 2026. He proudly served in the Armed Forces from 1959 to 1965 and spent his career as a draftsman, a profession that allowed him to travel extensively around the world. Clark is survived by his beloved wife, Doris Boyd Rinker, with who he shared 49 years of marriage. He will be remembered for his service, dedication, and the life he built through hard work and love.
