Clinton Michael Gillespie, age 31, of Duncanville, died March 6, 2011. Graveside services will be 11 a.m. Wednesday at Valhalla Cemetery with Todd Burkhalter officiating and Memory Chapel Funeral Home, a Dignity Memorial Provider, directing. Visitation will be tonight from 6 to 8 p.m. at the funeral home.
He was preceded in death by his grandparents, Sara Irwin Abney, George Irwin, and Curtis M. Gillespie, Sr.
Survivors include his son, Cash Michael Gillespie of Helena; his parents, Don and Jenny Gillespie of Cottondale; his brother, Curt Gillespie, III of Cottondale; his grandmother, Helen A. Gillespie of Cottondale; his aunt and uncle, JoAnn and David Parker of Cottondale; and friend, Crystal Davison of Meridian, Miss.
Mr. Gillespie was owner of American Plumbing Company. He graduated from Pleasant Grove High School. He was a Master Plumber and Master Gas Fitter. Clint loved his business and all those around him. He was always happy and smiling. He was a wonderful son and loving father and enjoyed doing things for others. He was an accomplished horseman and loved both hunting and fishing. He will be missed by all who knew him.
