Dallas Leroy Hinton age 25 of Thomasville, Alabama passed away on April 22, 2026. He was born May 3, 2000 in Tuscaloosa, Alabama to John Lawrence and Scarlett Hinton. He was a veteran of the United States Marine Corps having served in Okinawa, Japan and Afghanistan. He was a police officer with the Thomasville Police Department since February of 2024.
He is survived by his father, John L. Hinton; mother, Scarlett Hinton; sisters, Mallory Murphy (Chris) and Callie Hinton; brothers, Dylan Hinton and Justin Montgomery; fiancé, Brandi Nicole McKnight; aunt, Rita O’Brien; nephews, Milo, Kade, Caden, and Aulden; and numerous cousins and other relatives.
A Graveside service will be held at 2:00 pm on Saturday, May 2, 2026 at Memory Hill Gardens.
