DUNCANVILLE – Danny Ray Smith, age 66, of Duncanville, died September 22, 2016. Services were held at 2 p.m. on Monday, September 26, 2016, at Memory Chapel Funeral Home with Rev. Neil Hodo officiating. Burial followed in Mt. Zion Cemetery in Cottondale with Memory Chapel Funeral Home & Cremations, a Dignity Memorial Provider, directing. Visitation was one hour prior to the service at the funeral home. He was preceded in death by his father, Oliver Smith. Survivors include his wife, Diane Smith; daughters, DeAnna Smith McCool (Michael) and Dawn Heather Smith Nichols; son, Donny Smith; mother, Myrtle Marie Smith; grandchildren, Sasha "Blue" Nichols, Dakota "Angel" McCool, Faira "Peanut" Nichols, Michael "Bear" McCool, Mariah "Dixie Chick" Nichols, Daylon Ray "Snake" Smith, and Maxwell "Buster" McCool; and one great-grandchild, Jonah Oliver "Boots" Klipstine.Pallbearers will be Donny Smith, Daylon Smith, Mike McCool, Michael McCool, Max McCool, Shawn Krueger and James Hoggle. Honorary pallbearers are Jeff Angeloff, Steve Turner and employees of CMS, Buddy and Mary Harvey, Chris Couto, Dave Dohr, Macey Family, Angeloff Family, Jimmy Spencer, and friends at Roy's.
