David Milton Crawford

David Milton Crawford, age 85, of Tuscaloosa, died December 28, 2015. Services will be 11 a.m. Wednesday, December 30, 2015, at Memory Chapel Funeral Home with Dr. Herbert Thomas officiating. Burial will follow in Dunns Creek Baptist Church Cemetery with Memory Chapel Funeral Home & Cremations, a Dignity Memorial Provider, directing. Visitation will be one hour prior to service at the funeral home.He was preceded in death by his first wife, June Cornelius Crawford; daughter, Rebecca Carr; son, Michael Crawford; parents, Julius and Rona Crawford; brother, Leon Crawford; and sister, Doris Hitt.Survivors include his wife of 30 years, Jean Noland Crawford; daughter, Carrie Crawford; son, John Crawford; step-daughters, Darlene Noland Crocker, Sherrie Noland Pearson and Regina Noland; grandchildren, Katelyn Rice, Sam Crawford, Jeremy Pottle, Britni Hood, Jordan McCulley, Christyne Bridgeford, Justin Hollingsworth and Joanna Fitzgerald; and 14 great-grandchildren.Hebrew for David is Beloved. He leaves a void that will never be filled.Pallbearers will be Joe McCulley, Justin Hollingsworth, Scott Bridgeford, Mac Hitt, Wayne Hitt and Anthony Acker.Honorary pallbearers are members of Circlewood Baptist Church, Jerry Doss, SS Class, PAC Class and Manderson Cancer Center.In lieu of flowers, the family suggests that donations be made to Circlewood Baptist Church.Condolences may be offered at www.memorychapelfuneralhome.com.
