David Foster

David Kelly Foster, age 66, of Coaling, Alabama, passed away on March 20, 2026, in Savannah, Georgia, as the result of a car accident. Born January 17, 1960, David was a lifelong resident of Coaling and a devoted man of faith, family, and work. He was preceded in death by his parents, Charley Foster and Mary Ann Foster.

David is survived by his loving wife, Teresa Allen Foster; his sons, Chris Foster and Tyler Foster, and their wives, Misty and Samantha; and his cherished grandchildren, Cameron, Collin, Rhett, and Harper, who brought him immense joy and pride. He is also survived by his siblings, Sue Foster, Brian Foster, and Paul Foster.

A dedicated surveyor with LJA/Gonzalez, Strength & Associates, David was respected for his strong work ethic and steadfast commitment. Outside of work, he treasured time with his family—especially playing with and supporting his grandchildren. He also enjoyed attending sporting events with his family and took pride in maintaining his yard.

A faithful servant of the Lord, David served as a deacon at Circlewood Baptist Church. His love for Jesus Christ was the foundation of his life and guided the way he lived, loved, and cared for others. David will be remembered for his steady presence, his servant’s heart, and his unwavering love for his family.

Visitation will be held at Circlewood Baptist Church, 2201 Loop Rd

Tuscaloosa, AL, on April 1, 2026, from 12:00 pm until 2:00 pm. The Funeral Service will follow at Circlewood Baptist Church, at 2:00 pm with a committal service directly following at Memory Hill Gardens, 2200 Skyland Blvd E, Tuscaloosa AL.

Pallbearers will be Chris Foster, Tyler Foster, Brian Foster, Paul Foster, Homer Perry, Cole Foster, Zach Foster, and Phillip Foster. Honorary pallbearers will be Cameron Foster, Collin Foster, Rhett Foster, the deacons of Circlewood Baptist Church, and the employees of LJA/Gonzalez, Strength & Associates.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to Circlewood Baptist Church in David’s memory.
