MOUNDVILLE | David Browning Mills, age 71, of Moundville, died April 23, 2016, at DCH Regional Medical Center. Services will be 2 p.m. Wednesday, April 27, 2016, at Memory Chapel with Rev. Melody Traylor officiating. Burial will follow in Oak Hill Cemetery in Moundville, Ala. with Memory Chapel, A Dignity Memorial Provider directing. Visitation will be one hour prior to service. He was preceded in death by his parents, Searcy B. Mills and Elizabeth Powers Mills. Survivors include his wife, Carolyn Mills of Moundville; daughters, Michelle Mills McKelvey (Lynn) of Tuscaloosa and Meri Mills Farmer (Arthur) of Tuscaloosa; son, Marc Mills (Danna) of Tuscaloosa; grandchildren, Seth Farmer, Chris McKelvey, Elizabeth McKelvey, Jake McKelvy, Brooke Farmer, Gracie Farmer, Sarah Morgan Mills and Sydney Mills; and two great grandchildren, Ava McKelvey and Emma Kate McKelvey. Pallbearers will be Seth Farmer, Chris McKelvey, Jake McKelvey, Chris Latham, Buddy Hall, John A. Phillips and Keith Johnston. Honorary pallbearers are employees of Mills and Farmer, and former employees of Mills Electric, Inc. In lieu of flowers, donations may be forwarded to Forest Lake United Methodist Church Building Fund.
