Denise Pike

TUSCALOOSA – Denise Pike, age 50, passed away October 3, 2021. Services will be Wednesday, October 13, 2021 at Memory Chapel Funeral Home with Pastor Tim Carter officiating. Burial will follow in Memory Hill Gardens. The family will receive friends one hour prior to services at the funeral home.

Denise was preceded in death by her father, Bobby Smalley; grandparents, Florae and Charles Thigpen; uncles, Doug Thigpen and Larry Montgomery; and cousins, Jeremy Clements and Micah Thigpen.

She is survived by her daughter, Nicole Plowman (Chris); son, Taylor Pike; sister, Cindy Collins; mother, Patsy Thompson; and grandchildren, Teagan Plowman and Harlow Plowman.

Denise was born in Hueytown, Ala. on October 21, 1970. At the age of two she moved to Tuscaloosa, Ala., which is where she continued to reside. From the moment her life began, Denise was the utmost humble, loving soul. She was a profound lover of Jesus Christ, her family, and music. She was a spiritual woman who displayed her faith through giving her testimony and singing the gospel. She was very passionate about her family and friends, but her world revolved around her mother, children, and grandchildren. Denise has expressed her greatest accomplishments as being a proud mother and NuNu to her grandchildren. She was surrounded with unconditional love by so many close family and friends. To know who Denise was, is the best blessing. She will forever live in our hearts.

Pallbearers will be Bryan Montgomery, Andy Poole, Dewey Weekley, Kevin Pike, David Totah, Parker Davis, Cole Hannah, and Donnie Keene.
