Ms. Weston was preceded in death by her husband, Joe Weston; son, James Hilbish, Jr.; brother, Lewis Britt, Jr.; sisters, Louise Beasley and Jackie Britt; mother, Genie Britt; and father, Lewis Britt.
She is survived by her daughter, Nancy Diane Patty of Huntsville, AL; sons, Roger Wayne Hilbish of Tuscaloosa, Larry Daniel Hilbish of McCalla, AL, John Carl Hilbish of Wetumpka, AL, David Charles Hilbish of Tuscaloosa, AL, and Robert Brian Hilbish of Tuscaloosa; daughter-in-law, Maria Hilbish; sister, Marjorie Mendolson of Pensacola, FL; twelve grandchildren; four great-grandchildren; and numerous nieces and nephews.
Diane retired from Bryce Hospital in Tuscaloosa, AL. She enjoyed working in her yard, reading, politics, and cooking for her family, but her greatest love was caring for her children and grandchildren. She will be greatly missed and leaves a huge void in our family, but we take comfort knowing that Diane and Joe are together again.
