Dolores Beams Earnest Watson

NORTHPORT - Dolores Beams Earnest Watson, age 81, of Northport, Alabama, passed away on April 10, 2017, in Jacksonville, Florida. Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. on Friday, April 14, 2017, at Memory Chapel Funeral Home, 2200 Skyland Blvd East in Tuscaloosa, Alabama, with Reverend Rusty Selman officiating. Visitation is one hour before the service at the funeral home. Burial will follow in Memory Hill Gardens, a Dignity Memorial Provider, directing. Dolores was born in Weslaco, Texas to Ross and Lucy Beams on February 11, 1936. She went to school at Gorgas High School in Berry Alabama. She married Franklin Earnest on November 20, 1954. She married James Lewis Watson on September 9, 2010. She was involved in volunteer activities in her children's schools, her church, the VFW auxiliary and the Tuscaloosa VA hospital. She enjoyed crafts and had her own ceramic kiln. Dolores was preceded in death by her husbands, Franklin Earnest and James Lewis Watson and daughters, Janice Kernop and Donna Doyle. Dolores is survived by her daughters, Susan Elmore, Leah Brown and spouse, J. C.; grandchildren, Margaret Clarke and spouse, Tommy, Kristy Lawson, Jason Elmore and spouse, Haley, Patricia Elmore, Victoria Elmore and John Lewis; great-grandchildren, Ashlyn Clarke, Anna Clarke, Leah Clarke, Lilly Lawson, Alex Lawson, Kali'ann Elmore and Oliver Elmore .The family of Dolores wishes to extend our sincere thanks to the staff of Atria Park San Pablo in Jacksonville, Florida, Community Hospice of Northeast Florida and all our friends and family.
