NORTHPORT – Edith “Edie” Rinehart Stringfellow, age 70, passed away July 16, 2021 at UAB Hospital. A Memorial Celebration of Life will be 6 p.m. Thursday, July 22, 2021 at The Word Community Church with Pastor Scott Willmore officiating.
Mrs. Stringfellow was preceded in death by her father, R.D. Rinehart; mother, Anne Rinehart; and sister, Mary Anne Blakney.
She is survived by her husband, Rob Stringfellow; son, Benji Stringfellow (Andrea); and grandchild, Abby Avery.
Edie was a kindergarten teacher at Moundville Elementary, and a dedicated friend to all that knew her. She was fun to be around, and was a loving and supportive mother and wife. She is our Angel and will be missed by family and friends.
