Edward Glenn Boatman

NORTHPORT – Edward Glenn Boatman, age 51, of Northport, Ala., died August 9, 2017. Services will be 2 p.m. Monday, August 14, 2017, at Memory Chapel Funeral Home with Bro. Ray Hallman officiating. Burial will follow in Memory Hill Gardens with Memory Chapel Funeral Home, a Dignity Memorial Provider, directing. Visitation will be Sunday, August 13, 2017, from 6 to 8 p.m., at the funeral home.

He was preceded in death by his grandparents, Ernest and Ruby Dutton, Eva Nell Parker and Marshall Thrasher; aunts, Penny and Brenda Sue, Betty May Christian; and uncle, Curtis Parker.

Survivors include his wife, Rhonda Boatman; children, Emily, Sabrina and Ethan Boatman and Laura Watkins (Justin); parents, Ernestine "Jo" Thrasher (Donniel) and James Boatman; sister, Angela Jennings (Terry); brother, Dennis Thrasher; grandparents, Eddie Parker and Minnie Thrasher; and grandchildren, Tana, Cameron and Jackson Watkins.

Glenn greatly enjoyed spending time with his family. He loved playing with his children and grandchildren. He also was an avid outdoorsman enjoying hunting, fishing and anything dealing with the outside.

Pallbearers will be Charlie Parker, Connor Aultman, Toby Martin, Wayne Majors, Nick Serviss, Shannon Burnett and Jimmy Caddis.
