Edward “Ed” Gene Kirk, age 90, of Tuscaloosa, died September 10, 2022. There will be a private graveside service with military honors at Dunn’s Creek Baptist Church with Brother Rob Cain officiating and Memory Chapel Funeral Home directing. He was preceded in death by his parents, Revels Garfield Kirk and Sally N. Patterson. Survivors include his wife, Estelle V. Kirk of Tuscaloosa; daughter, Nikki K. Bridges (Greg) of Tuscaloosa; brothers, James “Bob” H. Kirk of Montgomery and Marion Clifford Kirk (Judy) of Birmingham; and granddaughter, Lauren N. Bridges of Tuscaloosa.
Pallbearers will be Greg Bridges, Griff Kirk, Brian Kirk, and Drew Kirk.
Honorary pallbearers are Mrs. Rose Bain and family, Mrs. Nancy Kelly, neighbors and friends of Fairway Drive, and the staffs of Home Instead & Aspire Rehab.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to Semper Fi & America’s Fund.
