NORTHPORT | Edward Williamson (Bill) Mullins, age 83, of Northport, Ala., died May 22, 2016, at Hunter Creek Health and Rehabilitation. Services will be 10 a.m. Wednesday, May 25, 2016, at Covenant Presbyterian Church with Rev. Neil McCarter officiating. Burial will follow in Evergreen Cemetery with Memory Chapel Funeral Home, a Dignity Memorial Provider, directing. Survivors include his brother, Ansel C. Mullins, Jr.; nephews, Ansel C. Mullins III (Colleen), Mark R. Mullins (Cindy), John E. Mullins (Debbie) and their families. Bill was born in Andalusia, Ala., December 23, 1932. He was a graduate of the University of Alabama and Louisville Presbyterian Seminary. After two years of active duty in the U.S. Army with a deployment to Korea he was employed by the Federal Housing and Urban Development Agency. Upon retirement from HUD, he became a pastor of the Butler Presbyterian Church where he served for 18 years.
