Elizabeth G. Benton, age 89, of Northport, formerly of Fayette, died October 26, 2014, at Glen Haven Health and Rehabilitation. Services will be 2 p.m. Thursday, October 30, 2014, at Memory Chapel Funeral Home with Rev. Doug Reeves officiating. Burial will follow in Boone Cemetery with Memory Chapel Funeral Home, a Dignity Memorial Provider, directing. Visitation will be one hour prior to services at the funeral home. She was preceded in death by her husband, Glen Benton; her parents; and her brother and sister. Survivors include her daughter, Ann Morris; son, Henry "Sonny" Morris (Shirley); grandchildren, Teresa, Denise, Tim, Stacey and Jason; and many great and great-great-grandchildren.
