Jean is survived by her daughter Peggy Logan Beasley (Jon); her step-sons Rodney Norris (Susan) and Roger Norris (Donna), her sisters Jewel Holt and Chris Townley (Elvis), her brothers R.L. Hamric and Luke Hamric (Ruby), her grandchildren Ron Beasley (Janet), Amanda Tyson Cannon (Woodrow and Jonnie Alison Barrett (Matt) and her great grandchildren 2 great-grand sons and 3 great-grand daughters.
Jean was preceded in death by her first husband, Hubert Logan; her second husband, Jack Norris; her son, Stanley Logan; her brother, M.L. Hamric; and her sister, Maxine Corkren.
Jean was the eldest of seven children growing up in Marion County, Alabama. She and her husband, along with their children, moved to Tuscaloosa, Alabama, and lived there until 2021.

A visitation for Emma will be held on Thursday, June 26, 2025, from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at Memory Chapel Funeral Home, 2200 Skyland Blvd East, Tuscaloosa, AL 35405, followed by a celebration of life at 2:00 PM.
