Mrs. Harris was proceeded in death by her mother, Mrs. Ludie E. Hodges; husband, Mr. Robert Harris; a daughter, Meshalle James; a brother, Mr. James L. Hodges, and a grandson, Xavier “Jack” James.

She leaves to forever cherish her memory: Two daughters: Nina Patton and Cassandra Dorsey, both of Tuscaloosa, AL; A son, Otis Theron James, Duncanville, AL; Three sisters: Johnnie Mae Hodges, Tuscaloosa, AL; Shirley A. Todd, Birmingham, AL; Janice Hodges Moss, Houston, TX. Two brothers: Nathaniel Hodges and Willie F. Hodges, Sr. of Tuscaloosa, AL; Grandchildren: Marvis Hodges, Townsend, MA; N. Roland Henley, Tuscaloosa, AL; L. Colby Turner, Tuscaloosa, AL; Pharrys A. Tyree, Tuscaloosa, AL; Octavius “Dee” James, Tuscaloosa, AL; Antonio R. White, Moundville, AL; Nicholas Warren, Tuscaloosa, AL; Delia James Novak, Columbia, MS; Daylen James, Duncanville, AL, and a host of extended family and friends.
