Faye Ledbetter

A visitation for Faye will be held Friday, November 19, 2021 from 12:30 PM to 2:00 PM at Memory Chapel. Followed immediately by a funeral service at 2:00 PM, from the Funeral Home Chapel. Burial will follow from Memory Hill Gardens, Garden of the Last Supper, under the direction of Memory Chapel, a Dignity Memorial provider.

Faye was born July 29, 1942. She spent her working career at Kmart, where she was able to retire after 25 years of service. She enjoyed fishing, especially fishing for crappie and bream. She always maintained an active social life and enjoyed time she was able to spend with friends. She was also fond of playing BINGO and trying her luck at the slot machines. She was a wonderful cook and was well known for always making the best banana pudding.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Edward and Gertrude Richardson and one brother, Allred Richardson.

Ms. Ledbetter is survived by her daughters Wanda Falls and Tiffany Doggett; son Rudy (Shelia) Waldrop; sister Jewel (Ray) Hobson; brother Horace (Beth) Richardson; grandchildren: Tonya Lee, Haley Hager, Steven Waldrop, Michael Young, Crystal Taylor, Megan Barrett, Cameron Patton and McKenzie Taylor; and ten great-grandchildren.

Serving as Active Pallbearers will be: Danny Beck, Josh Hager, Ezra Martin, John Martin, Jody Taylor and Timothy Richardson. The family wishes to recognize the Staff and Nurses at The Manderson Cancer Center and Hospice of West Alabama as Honorary Pallbearers.
