Ms. Bircheat was born December 13, 1932 to the late James Nathan and Estelle Homan. She was a devoted and loving daughter, sister and wife, mother and Granny/Nanny. She loved her Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. A Baptist by Faith, she was a member of the former Eastern Hills Baptist Church and moved with the members to Temple Baptist Church. She loved going to church and church socials. A natural caretaker, she loved sharing delicious food that she had prepared with others, as it brought great joy to her heart. And Yes, She was Awesome at it! Along with her devoted family, her special pets, Sammy and Whiskers will miss her so very much.
In addition to her parents, “Boots” was preceded in death by her husband of 62 years J.B. Bircheat, brothers: Clifton Homan, Jimmy Homan and Junior Homan, and a sister Mae Williams.
