

TUSCALOOSA – Frances King Chesnutt, age 88, of Tuscaloosa, died July 6, 2016, at home. Services will be 3 p.m. Sunday, July 10, 2016, at Heritage Chapel Funeral Home with Rev. Albert Lyles officiating. Burial will follow in Bethel Presbyterian Church Cemetery with Heritage Chapel Funeral Home & Cremations, a Dignity Memorial Provider, directing. Visitation will be one hour prior to services at the funeral home.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Arnold Albert Chesnutt; parents, Oscar Floyd King and Mary Reba King; and brother, Jerry King.
Survivors include her daughters, Teresa Mitchell (Jerry), Sherri Edwards (Andy) of Tuscaloosa and Connie Thurstin (Hal) of Birmingham; sons, Larry Chesnutt (Pam) of Tuscaloosa and Michael Chesnutt (Paula) of St. Petersburg, Fla.; sister, Charlotte King (George) of Jamestown, Ala.; brothers, Rufus King (Debbie) of Fayette, Ala. and Gary King (Christy) of Cottondale; grandchildren, Steve Cobbs, Kimberly Silas (Mark), Miranda Herring of Tuscaloosa, Ryan Chesnutt and Tyler Chesnutt of Tuscaloosa, Alan Chesnutt (Rebecca) of Chattanooga, Tenn., Cole Shirley (Lori) of Northport, Ala., Adrian Thurstin of Birmingham, Eric Hansen (Angie), Evan Scire and Kelly Flynn (Mick) of Augusta, Ga.; and great-grandchildren, Dalton and Jordan Cobbs, Shannah and Savanna Pearce, Sara Bella Silas, Madilyne Herring, Reid Shirley, Braden Hansen, Davis Hansen and Madeline and Conner Flynn of Augusta, Ga.
Pallbearers will be Steve Cobbs, Dalton Cobbs, Ryan Chesnutt, Tyler Chesnutt, Alan Chesnutt and Cole Shirley.
