Frank was the youngest of six children and grew up in Pineywoods and Northport, Alabama. He was a graduate of Tuscaloosa County High School and the University of Alabama. Frank raised his family in Tuscaloosa and Birmingham and spent over 42 years in the U.S. Army and Alabama National Guard. He later retired in Stewart, Alabama after working many years in Financial Services. Many knew him as Don or Donald but he preferred Frank and was lovingly known as "Pops" to those closest to him. He loved being outdoors, farming and gardening and just soaking up the sunshine. There was usually a cat or dog by his side. He enjoyed talking to his buddies from the National Guard and customers from his Finance jobs. He never forgot anyone he met and he was loved by all and will be truly missed.
In lieu of flowers please make any donations to your favorite animal shelter. The family would like to give a special Thank You to Amedysis Home Health Care of Demopolis Nurses, Aide, Therapists and office staff for their loving care.
