COTTONDALE - Gary S. Smith, age 72, went to his heavenly home February 14, 2021. Services will be 2 p.m. Thursday, February 18, 2021 at Memory Chapel Funeral Home followed by a private entombment at Memory Hill Gardens. The family will receive friends one hour prior to services at the funeral home.
Mr. Smith was preceded in death by his parents, Grace and Curtis Smith.
He is survived by his wife of 51 years, Dean Lyons Smith; daughter, Dena Smith Deerman (Bill); grandchildren, Wesley Shawn Deerman (Morganne), Billy E. Deerman (Nikki), and Tiffani Deerman McPherson (Josh); sister, Rebecca Earnest (Randy); great-grandchildren, Joshua Wyatt McPherson and Chandler Whitt McPherson; and a host of nieces and nephews.
